La radiofr©quence percutan©e dans la prise en charge de lâh©patocarcinome : un espoir pour nos pays en voie de d©veloppement
Résumé
Objectif : Evaluer lâapport de la radiofr©quence percutan©e dans la prise en charge de lâh©patocarcinome en terme de faisabilit© et dâefficacit© sous nos tropiques.                           Â
Mat©riel et M©thodes :Etude r©trospective sur une p©riode de 12 mois ayant port© sur lâanalyse de tous les dossiers adress©s dans notre service dâimagerie pour la prise en charge par radiofr©quence percutan©e dâh©patocarcinome apr¨s discussion multidisciplinaire entre chirurgiens oncologues et radiologues digestifs. Cinq dossiers ont ©t© retenus. La n©crose tumorale ©tait consid©r©e comme compl¨te en lâabsence de prise de contraste art©rielle nodulaire du site de radiofr©quence sur lâexamen TDM ou IRM de contr´le r©alis© un  deux mois apr¨s la proc©dure.
R©sultats :Lâ¢ge moyen des patients ©tait de 64,4 ans. Lâh©patopathie sous jacente ©tait de type cirrhotique pour tous les patients. Six nodules ont ©t© trait©s par radiofr©quence. La n©crose compl¨te ©tait objectiv©e pour 05 nodules sur 06 trait©s soit 83%. La persistance dâun r©sidu tumoral a ©t© observ© dans 01 cas soit 17%. Deux d©c¨s ©taient survenus  08 et 09 mois. La survie sans r©cidive  01 an ©tait de 100%.
Conclusion : La prise en charge par radiofr©quence percutan©e de lâh©patocarcinome constitue une alternative efficace alliant innocuit©, facilit© et disponibilit©.Mots-clés
