Résumé
RESUMEÂ :
Objectif : d©crire le profil des examens radiographiques standards r©alis©s dans les centres hospitaliers universitaires (chu) de Lom© et ©valuer leur justification.                                        Â
Mat©riels et m©thode : Etude transversale portant sur 5200 examens r©alis©s a 4580 patients en six mois (janvier-juin 2011). La justification des radiographies r©alis©s ©tait appr©ci©e  partir de la qualification du demandeur, la pertinence de lâindication clinique et sur les r©sultats de lâinterpr©tation du radiologue.                                                      Â
R©sultats : Lâ¢ge moyen des patients ©tait de 35,5 ans et une pr©dominance f©minine ©tait not©e (53,2%). Les enfants repr©sentaient 19,3% des patients. Les radiographies thoraciques (41,5%), celles des sinus (11,9%) et celles rachidiennes lombaires (9,4%) ©taient respectivement les plus r©alis©s. Les examens ©taient prescrits par les m©decins sp©cialistes (37,0%), par les m©decins g©n©ralistes dans (34,0%) et par des param©dicaux et des radioth©rapeutes (6,4)%. Les indications cliniques formul©es par les prescripteurs ©taient adapt©es dans 96,5% pour les m©decins sp©cialistes, 72, 0 % pour les m©decins g©n©ralistes et dans 12,0% pour les param©dicaux. 51,1% des radiographies interpr©t©es ©tait pathologiques. Les comptes rendus normaux ©taient plus ©lev©s (77,4%) pour des prescriptions faites par les param©dicaux.  Conclusion : Un guide de bon usage des examens dâimagerie m©dicale sâav¨re n©cessaire pour ©pargner les patients dâirradiations m©dicales inutiles au TOGO.Â

SUMMARY:
Purpose: To establish the profile of the standard radiographic examinations realized in the Lom© Teaching hospital center of and to assess their justification.                               Â
Materials and methods: Transverse study concerning 5200 examinations realized to 4580 patients in 06 months (January-June 2011). The justification of radiographies realized was appreciated from the qualification of the prescriber, the relevance of the clinical indication and on the results of the radiologist interpretation. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Results: The average age of the patients was of 35.5 years and a feminine ascendancy was noted (53,2 %); children represented 19.3 %. The chest (41.5 %), the sinus (11.8 %) and spine (9.4 %) X-rays were respectively the most realized. The examinations were prescribed in 37.0 % by the specialists, in 34.0 % by the general practitioners and in 06.4 % by paramedical and traditional doctors. Clinical indications formulated by the applicants were adapted in 96.5 % for the specialists, 72.0 % for the general practitioners and in 12.0 % for the paramedical. Â 51.1 % X rays presented a pathology. Normal interpretation reports were highest (77.4%) for prescriptions made by the paramedical. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Conclusion: A guide of good use of the medical imaging examinations turns out to be necessary to spare the patients of useless medical irradiations in TOGO.
