SUMMARY
The authors present a 46 and 50 year old men who underwent MRI for cauda equina syndrom and hyperalgic right radicular pain. MRI showed a sequestrated disc fragment posterior to the thecal sac, hypointense on T1, heterogeneous on T2 with a rim enhancement. They underline its relative rarity, the MRI features and   they review the literature
