ACCIDENT VASCULAIRE CEREBRAL HEMORRAGIQUE DU NOIR AFRICAIN :CARACTERISTIQUES SCANOGRAPHIQUES DES HEMATOMES INTRACEREBRAUX A KINSHASA.

But : Analyser les images tomodensitom©triques (TDM) de lâh©matome intrac©r©bral (HIC) spontan© chez le Noir Africain.

Patients et M©thode : 185 patients noirs africains de Kinshasa atteints dâaccident vasculaire c©r©bral (AVC) ont ©t© inclus dans notre ©tude

R©sultats :Lâh©matome intrac©r©bral de lâafricain  ©tait supratentorial dans 96% des cas, et  volontiers dans lâh©misph¨re gauche du cerveau(72%). Il ©tait de localisation profonde (90%) et souventsitu© dans le putamen (57%). La taille moyenne de lâh©matome  ©tait de 37 millilitres. Lâinondation ventriculaire ©tait rtrouv©e dans un tiers des cas. La ligne m©diane ©tait d©vi©e en moyenne de 7mm et la mortalit© sâ©l¨vait   35% dans les 30 jours suivant lâictus. Il ©tait dâorigine hypertensive dans 91,5 % des cas.

Conclusion :Les caract©ristiques de lâHIC du sujet noir africain diff¨rent peu de ceux des autres parties du monde quant   lâorigine, la localisation, lâinondation ventriculaire et la mortalit©.
